For the past 8 years, I've relied on my amazing hairstylist for my signature look. Her talent and dedication are the heart of the salon's success, yet her compensation only reflects a fraction of the value she creates.
My dad, after 20 years of building a thriving business, faced a heartbreaking decision. None of his children were ready to take over, and selling meant letting go of his life's work for a fraction of its true worth.
Growing up, my dad helped start new factories around the world for US companies. I lived in 3 countries by the age of 4. Despite knowing how to improve the business from the factory floor, he faced layoff after layoff with short-term organizational changes.
Our experiences aren't isolated stories. Countless small businesses face similar challenges - talented employees miss out on shared ownership, and owners struggle to find a fair and sustainable exit strategy.
At Zolidar, we believe in the power of solidarity. We're inspired by the idea that everyone who contributes to a company's success should benefit from its growth.
That's why we created Zolidar - a fintech platform designed specifically to help SMB owners transition to employee ownership. Through easy-to-use tools and expert guidance, we empower everyday heroes like our dads and our stylists to build wealth together, ensuring a win-win for owners, employees, and the businesses they've built.
